Summer Feeding Program

Danville Public Schools (DPS) will be continuing its Summer Meals program in 2025, beginning June 9. The DPS Child Nutrition Department will offer breakfast and lunch at various locations throughout the city. Through this program, meals will be served to school age children 18 and under at no cost.
School Based Schedule
Dine in options are available Monday-Thursday from Monday, June 9 through Thursday, June 17. Breakfast will be served from 8 to 9 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the following locations: Galileo Magnet High, O.T. Bonner Middle, Westwood Middle, Park Avenue Elementary, Schoolfield Elementary, Woodberry Hills Elementary, and Woodrow Wilson.
Starting July 7, pick up meals will also be available at Bonner, Park Avenue, Schoolfield, and Woodberry.
Food Truck Schedule
The DPS food trucks will operate Monday-Thursday from June 11 through July 17 on the following schedule:
Purdum Woods Apartments from 10 to 10:20 a.m.
Cedar Terrace Apartments from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m.
Pleasant View Apartments from 11 to 11:20 a.m.
Johnson Elementary School from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Cardinal Village Apartments from 11:30 to 11:50 a.m.
Glenwood Recreation Center from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Southwyck Hills Apartments from 12 to 12:20 p.m.
Please note that Danville Public Schools will be closed for holidays on June 19 and July 4.
